how this might differ if it is a person who saw something “Tragic” happen vs. someone who might have been unfairly punished and even abused as a child?
which emotions would surface again then ? (in case of the abusive trauma)
please explain and describe,.
also is this the reason that many DONT want to be put under hypnsosis often times?
because they are afraid or just DONT WANT to remember again these times?
how does hypnotherapy claim to heal these wounds?
please explain

Hi,
Because everyone is different, people have varied responses to past issues. The whole session in hypnosis can be created in a way that those negative events/memories are accessed only in a way a person can handle.
There can be an emotional release, which is in itself a time of healing and suggestions can be given to facilitate that.

‘The term catharsis has been used for centuries as a medical term meaning a “purging.” Most commonly in a medical context, it euphemistically refers to a purging of the bowels. A drug, herb, or other agent administered as a strong laxative is termed a cathartic.
The term catharsis has also been adopted by modern psychotherapy, particularly Freudian psychoanalysis, to describe the act of expressing, or more accurately, experiencing the deep emotions often associated with events in the individual’s past which had originally been repressed or ignored, and had never been adequately addressed or experienced. A quote from his first Lecture in the US, “An Introduction to Psychoanalysis”, is given to support this important point, “… experience shows that if the patient is reproducing the traumatic scene to the physician, the process has no curative effect if, by some peculiar chance, there is no development of emotion.” Catharsis is also an emotional release associated with talking about the underlying causes of a problem or seeing a dream.’

Is “Catharsis” usually involving “Hypnosis”? No, not hypnosis typically.
and is suppressed or “repressed” ANGER usually involved? Yes.
or which emotions usually? It is a hazard to think emotions as concepts, but favored is to conceptualize emotions as having a common source or biological dynamic directed at different times to different functions which are organically expressed, like crying and tear ducts as example.
is Catharsis basically allowing someone to express their repressed anger in a safe environment usually? It is to allow them safety for expression for everything expressible. Anger is certainly one of them.
how this helps them? It releases energies in the self that would be otherwise be condemned to work against their own organism.
again, which other emotions are usually involved? Anger, hate, fear, anxiety, sorrow, love, admiration, revulsion, contempt, loyalty, guilt, shame, sexual attractions and peculiarities …..
is most times involving Parental abuse? Incompetence.
do they actually re feel and relive these experiences in their head? No, their experience is a surplus to that, but the metaphor is valid.
or feelings? Yes.
please explain and describe.

This might be a good thing if viewed as self-help system. Or is it self indoctrination?

Question: Are many people feeling very angry during “Hypnosis” when psychologist gets to “the root of their problems”?
which emotions are often “the root of their problems” usually for people with ‘psychological disorders” or “problems”?
what means and how anger is repressed and can cause more problems even for their mental health etc? how does hypnosis work and are most people feeling very relaxed and good to begin with until what? and how “Repressed negative feelings and memories” are brought again to the surface by a psychologist or psychiatrist and what then?
please explainw what you can
WHICH EMOTIONS ARE MOST OFTEN “THE ROOT” PROBLEM AND WHY? AND WHY OFTEN REPRESSED?

Shame is an emotions that correlates with many disorders, namely depression and anxiety disorders.
Hypnosis is pseudoscience. They don’t teach hypnosis at any established university.
“Repressed” feelings are a matter of debate. The majority of psychologist believe that there are emotions which have not been brought to the level of conscious awareness yet, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that they were repressed in the first place.

They say that people can only be hypnotised if they want to be, so that is the big difference.
They are similar because you can get information out of people.
However hypnosis will be able to get more information from deep within the subconscious because people are far more relaxed. Under stress, i.e. interrogation, memory will not work as well, and often people will give false information to get themselves off the hook, or to help in the war effort or whatever.
Interrogation is about coercion and persuasion using manipulation or physical / mental torture.
Also the goal of hypnosis is often to help the individual, and of course interrogation is to help the interrogator’s bosses acquire sensitive information.
Also interrogation is rarely used as a form of entertainment on stage!
