Question: Is hypnotic mind control real?
Before you think I’m crazy, I swear I’m not. I saw an ad on the computer that said something about “mind control” and “controlling the minds of the people around you through hypnosis” and I thought wow that’s really dumb I bet it’s just a scam. I clicked on it anyways and a recording came on and it was a man speaking. He repeated these phrases that said things like “you feel the pull of gravity as you listen to my voice” and “you listen to my voice” and all these weird phrases about hearing and seeing things. I actually started laughing thinking wow this guys crazy but then a couple seconds later (maybe 10) I was in this trance, not thinking about anything but what he was saying kind of like I was sleeping with my eyes open or something. Whatever it was it wasn’t very strong because I snapped out of it quick. But woah that was really weird! So is it possible for something like that to really happen or was I just imagining it?

Meh, I doubt it. Mind control can’t really take much effect without using up alot of time and money.
Question: Has anyone had experience with the potentially negative uses of hypnotic suggestion (including advertising)?
I am very concerned about the use of “hypnosis” to defraud, especially by caregivers and lawyers to defraud elders. I have experienced an extremely hypnosis-adept caregiver manipulate several people into taking care of her financially, lawyers into conspiring with her and using hypnosis (suggestion) on opposition lawyers and in court (esp. ingratiating “pleasantness” and those left-arm gestures), a doctor into performing improperly, opponents into fighting with each other, business persons claiming to have been defrauded by the caregiver, and the personal loss of my father’s estate as the result of the above. I would like to hear the experiences of others, particularly if you are aware of any persons who might be investigating such issues ( I have a mass of detail to contribute). I find it extraordinary (until now?) that illicit hypnotic suggestion techniques cannot be correlated with specific results to establish a map of warning signs to protect society from the abuse of the practice

I READ AN article that said joel osteen uses hypnotic suggestion. somethign about his tone of voice, key words…that sort of thing. that’s why alot of organized christian religions dont like him. i dont see anything wrong with him. i listened to one of his sermons. afterwards i felt fine. so fine i emptied my bank account and donated it all to his church.
